The weight of a body is less inside the earth than on the surface. Explain.

As we go inside the earth, the value of ‘x’ increases as a result the value of ‘g’ decreases. Therefore, the weight of the body is less inside the earth than on the surface.

Yeah. because acceleration due to gravity changes at different altitudes.
